Good morning.
I’m on my first cup of coffee, just me, on the laptop, and the house is still quiet.… before the texts start stacking and the to-do list starts tapping on my shoulder. I like this part.

Yesterday I spent time with a friend.
Nothing fancy. No plans scripted by Instagram aesthetics. Just two people, some music in the car, a stretch of road in New Mexico, and a conversation that kept evolving. Hiked down to a waterfall—one of those no-signal zones, where your phone becomes nothing more than dead weight in your pocket.
